Finally, in the NFL and NBA, not all of the best players are in big markets. Those sports are successful while having great teams in many markets that MLB is currently failing in or would fail in. Thats all fair PH.........But you have to agree, in the NBA, there are 5 or 6 teams each season that have a TRUE shot at winning it all...Most teams are just playing out the string from day one.... In baseball, you entered the season...

It's media income that's the biggest difference. Heck, i was in China earlier this year and guess what station came in loud and clear .... you guessed it, YES network! When would this cap go into effect? It gets "Grandfather Claused" in ... just like drinking age laws etc. etc. Yanks could keep their payroll as is ... just can't add to it untill the $$$ falls off the books. NOT THAT DIFFICULT

I did read that article and replied back, which I rarely ever do with a columnist. Freeman insinuated those two clowns literally burned something on McNabb's lawn, whereas what actually happened was they used a petroleum based product to "burn" ...

So you're saying Boise St should never play for the national championship because they never play anybody. And you say nobody wants to play Boise St. So how do they play anybody? So you point out the screwed up system that is Div 1-A football. Only way that makes sense is a playoff which includes non-BCS conf. champs. P.S. I love how people say one game alone ...

4. Kobe does not look any older. He is averaging an amazing 34.5 points per game. Looks like there is plenty of gas in the tank after scoring 41 in each of his last two games. Scary. Clearly the best player in the league. Adding the post up game just solidified his top 3 all time argument.

Florida doesn't play TCU or Boise State, so yeah, they'll probably stay undefeated until they play Texas in the NCG. In that game, I'd have to favor Texas at this time. Florida's offense isn't playing very good. Their defense keeps them in the games, and Tebow is good enough to score a touchdown and get them close enough for a couple field goals....

I think they'll lose this game, then lose atleast 2 of their last 3, finishing the season unranked. I sure hope so cause that will put us back in the conference race. But I don't think they lose today. Indiana had a big lead last week vs Northwestern and blew it. But who knows
