I just pulled my Spanish copy of Clavos Rojos (Red Nails) off my shelf and to mys surprise I discovered it contains a wonderful Barry Smith portrait of an equestrian Conan on the inner cover. I don't think I've ever seen this one before but it looks like the same vintage as The Tupenny Conan . It may even be part of that portfolio. I've never seen all the plates (I think). Check it out.

If I'd had my d'ruthers, there never would have been Time Lords and the Doctor would've forever remained a mysterious man from "somewhere". It would be an interesting exercise someday to figure out in such a case which post-Games stories would still have been possible exactly as is.

Agreed, Punisher War Zone was very enjoyable. Everyone should just keep in mind going into it that it is very much a Marvel Knights Punisher movie, not a
Punisher MAX movie (even though many surface elements were culled from Max).

I think there is a demand however, for miscellaneous OOP volumes such as Doctor Strange #1.

A few observations I agreed with or some I would throw out there:
Wolverine has become 1 big retcom, and far less interesting (the more you know the less the mystery). Does every hotshot writer have to put his
"stamp" on every character or think his idea is better than all those which have come before?

Before I post my cover for today, here's the homage to Sentry's cover:
My cover:
Several qualities make this a standout from all comics currently on the stands in 1968:
1) All in different shades of green!
2) Completely blurb and dialogue-free!
3) An interesting use of Kirby Krackle by Kirby-disciple Steranko!
4) Well, um...Lorna Dane was sure a looker, wasn't she??...

So much for brevity.
I've been a big Robert E. Howard fan since my teens and he's one of my very few adolescent favourites who I still find readable. And I always had a

Kane has had a starried comics life. Marvel produced some memorable work, particulary the first story with artwork by ...

I was going to bring back the NFL thread I started last season, but this can be the new one- after all, the one I started replaced a different one!
Last time I started off with my predictions for each division, buts it's a little early for that. I will do a pre pre season prediction of just division
winners though:
NFC
East- Giants
West- Cardinals
North- Vikings
South- Saints...
