I see that as lack of control on the mission designers part (not a poke at anyone). you should be using : max, used = OFP:getMissionQuota() max is the maximum allowed, used is what is currently used. if (max - used) < OFP:getGroupSize("primaryset") then --disable something not important or far from the player end

When OFP spawns an entity set it assigns the set an "id" value. I think originally they planned to have the AI have limited ammo. but then realised they waste all there ammo shooting at the air around you. so they changed it so they have unlimited ammo. Im guessing they just dont take ammo into account when shooting anymore.

The reason the US uses the 'all to center' tactic is because that is what they used when they did there first elite hound (in about 40 mins). We sued caster kiting here to do it in about 10-11 mins, cant remember exactly.
The all to center tactic works fine, so long as you do not get beholders. So you really require the bard to buff up correctly and for the pups to a) not bug and b) always ...

No, it happened to me on this mission, with all my squad alive. I tend to try and complete all missions without losses (doesn't always happen!)
I can't remember exactly how I fixed it. I think I closed the game down and restarted, selecting to continue the campaign. I didn't have to replay the whole mission though.
Maybe you have an enemy lurking somewhere out of sight that ...

Wow I had a post in this thread and now it was deleted... All it had was some quotes that were given about what the game was going going to have that never showed up in final release...... Why would they delete that???? I did'nt break any rules... All I posted was the truth.....

Didn't you start a similar thread the other week about lifetime subscriptions ruining the game? The consensus seemed to be there is no correlation between lifetime subs and the introduction of goats into a game.

I noticed the AI can be dumb and very skilled at the same time. Try shooting the driver of a humvee, he won't react until you shoot the tires, not even when you hit him in the shoulder...

I haven't used any mods so far, because I barely play the game anymore. One of the biggest issues was that the bullets wouldn't always register a hit, even when there was blood flying around everywhere. Since this is supposed to be fixed with this patch, I 'll probably apply it and see if the game becomes enjoyable again.
