As i said I am just giving my input on the subject. When I have had the fallowing problems: Face plate failure, internal amp failure, engine noise, cd's stop ejecting or partly eject from what they are supposed to, poor customer service, and many more things. Not only on units that I have used but units I have installed and others have installed as well. That is all I am saying. I am not looking for a dispute but just giving feedback with...

For how much those Pioneers go for, it'd be a no brainer to me. Polk Monitors and $800+ in new gear to drive them.

Not all watts are the same???
Published (2009-11-08 12:07:00)
Yes...........rated watts from the manufacturer is just a very small part of the equation. My 30wpc amp I have now is better in every way (by a lot) than my previous 125wpc amp. It's like buying a car based solely on horsepower, which is sort of a ridiculous way to buy a car unless you have one singular thing in mind. There is a learning curve in this hobby and many times it's trial and error, so experimenting with lots of gear is...

I've seen/followed him thru the years, if you want a pretty good recording and idea of what his music is all about,,give a listen to "live from nowhere in particular,,cd or vinyl. He is a real fellow who has not let his popularity go to his head.Just saw him in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago,, had a few issues with the sound,,still played his A$$ off.

Game of the year's a bit much... but it definitely looks good. There are some big contenders for GOTY right now - Red Faction: Guerilla (a dark horse, sure, but if the demos are any indication it has a shot), Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2 (if it's as close to completion as they say), etc. But I am looking forward to those snowmobile sequences! And to see what they've done to improve the ...

Is the lower treble very harsh? This could be the effect of cheap interconnects, source or dirty connectors.
