Sorry, it's GONE. It was sitting there forever, go figure. Nobody was home, but a neighbour said it "left a while ago" (whatever that means). He also said the truck had no chrome/stainless left on it. I'd never seen the front since it had it's back to the road. Sorry if I got your hopes up. Guess I should have checked it out first before I posted. Saw that picture when I googled B61 Mack. It is a beautiful...

My gauges require 3 5/32" (80mm) holes for the speedo and tach, and 2 1/16" for the four small ones. The big one is an off-size for hole saws, and the little one is a bit hard to find. They're going into a fiberglass dash. Is it best to cut a 2" and 3 1/8" and then sand up the extra 1/16"-1/32"? Any special type of saw to ensure no problems?

Free! Here are a few "near stock bodied" drawings left over from paint concept work. I don't think the guys will mind if I share the blank drawings, so you can sketch or photoshop your projects. :-)

I have found a contact to a person who could ship the following Mustang parts for my rod. Could someone tell me about where prices are fixed for these parts?
The best way for me to ship all I need from a 5.0 Mustang would be to cut the front off one across the floor at the bottom of the A-pillars and cutting thru the bottom of the screen pillars. I need the complete engine and transmission ...

I am well aware of the trend in flat black. I did my first one about 12-14 years ago. I am starting to see more colors being used...mostly basic colors like blue.
What I am predicting is that metallics will become somewhat popular, using a flat clear on top. Even with the flat finish hiding some of the radiance, it is still the sort of thing that grabs your attention. If you have ever ...

OK so I am back on leave from the military for 2 weeks and have 1994 GMC
Yukon 4x4 2 door SLE with 5.7 and auto. Since I been gone in the last 6
months it won't heat up. It has a new radiator and a new thermostat was
installed. I thought it could be the thermostat but not sure. I am just
looking for ideas. There is no heat or luke warm heat and the temp guage
reads right around 100. It runs fine ...

Hi. Im going to purchase a torn down 283 sbc ('58-'61) thats been 0.060 overbored. It comes with a 327 crank and connecting rods, and also with 307 pistons (0.060 oversize). it also comes with the original 283 crank which i believe has been machined but im not sure what has been done to it.
My question is, can I use the 327 crank and rods with the 307 pistons? or even the 283 crank? I guess...

I was just wondering what would be the cons of running a ratchet shifter on a TH400 tranny using it as a manual and not using "drive" at all. Me and a buddy were talking about it and weren't too sure of the repercussions.

Well, I decided to go ahead and start another thread to finish this up. I like to post a lot of updates and I dont want to hog the project update thread. I'm sure there's other people want to talk besides me and it should be for everyone's use. Mama always told me to be polite.
So where we left off was my son finished cleaning up the floor and here it is. I'm happy, not a single place that ...
