I can tell ya\'ll about hush puppies. Yes, they are made with corn meal, onions, and sometimes creamed corn, bell peppers, and maybe a little red pepper (depending on taste). Some add beer to the batter (the alcohol cooks away) for the flavor. Gotta be fried deep and add to fish, cole slaw, french fried taters, sliced onion, and add a body of water (lake, river, creek, bayou, or even ocean/gulf) nearby just for fun.

I\'m thankful that through it all, many times and for many years now, though it appeared the ship was going down, the LORD has preserved, protected and delivered me...every single time. My only regret being that I had not trusted Him more. If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Tm 2:13

Do you vaccinate? Is so, why? If you don\'t vaccinte, why not? If you do vaccinate, have you studied up on the ingredients that they put in vaccines? I hope this doesn\'t turn into an argument. If it does, I am sorry. It is something I feel very strongly against. I don\'t vaccinate. I\'ve read some of the ingredients they put in vaccines, and I cannot justify injecting that junk into my ...

The dictionary defines the word humble as being free from pride or vanity, modest, meek, or unassuming. NelsonÂ’s Illustrated Bible Dictionary states it this way. A freedom from arrogance that grows out of the recognition that all we have and are comes from ...

IÂ’m an assistance in a Sunday School class with kids ages 4-6. IÂ’m having a very difficult time in this class right now. So much has happened. I really want out of this class. But I want to do it gracefully. There have been so many misunderstandings and things of that nature. I donÂ’t think there is a way of fixing any of this. I have been bothered about something for a while now, but it...

Does Bible teach us to retreat from life?
1 Corinthians 7 :
8.Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried , as I am. 9.But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry , for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
I am amazed! I think these two verses teach us to retreat from life.So if we can control our ...

Hi, Ive been doing a study on Jeremiah 31 and contrasting clause by clause how the promised new covenant contrasted with the old one. I expect most folk will agree with the statements regarding the New Covt. because they follow the idea in the Jeremiah text. However you might want to comment (critique/tweak/improve) my comments concerning the Old Covt? Look alright to you? Got better verse ...

Based on discussions I\'ve had with Christians over time, I have the following understanding [correct me if wrong]: God is Sovereign, God is Sovereign because he is the Creator of all that exists. Am I correct so far? Another words, God can do as he wishes and he will always be perfect and just...this is based on the fact that he is the Creator of our Universe.

1 Timothy 2:11-13 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. I understand that in marriage that the man naturally takes the dominant role. But this kinda seems like a verse other countries use to put down women. Its said in almost an ungodly way.

Hello, everyone-' + '-there has been a weight on my heart for quite some time now, and particularly intense this year, as I watch the downfall of my country. I have a lot of questions related to Revelation and how a Preterist would read it. Since you are a Preterist, I thought I might address these toward you (and whoever else would want to contribute, of course).
1) What are some good Preterist commentaries on Revelation? Is Chilton the best out there?
2) Who or what do the "two witnesses" represent, and why?
3) What do the 144,000 ...
