they were looking at the change from the start of november till now as being higher. I think this shows that your exmaple shows how misleading headlines can be at times. yesterday the main headline for cnbc was that stocks pushed higher due to an increase in housing, when this wasn't the reason. I also like usatoday, have you ever read their economic news? they can make anything now look good. it is so biased I don't even take what...

cali high def solution to energy...

That's not necessarily true.... but, in the short term, it may have to happen. You know , there's more downside to nuclear plants than the risk of disaster... which communities do you think will welcome these plants with open arms? Property values won't skyrocket, that's for sure. When the gov't forces people to take a buyout...will you be on board?

Marketwatch.com is one of the most credible news outlets i know of. read this headline: "Consumer sentiment edges higher" last month's figure: 70.6 this month's figure: 67.4 now, the year to year change is an increase, but is "edges higher" and honest representation when it actually dropped from last month? <...

Congrats. But seeing as to how you hijacked a college basketball thread and turned it into an argument, that is Pooky's forte, so you are obviously him.

The "Public Option"...
Published (2009-11-24 10:11:00)
That's be truthful....IF it passes, insurance companies will NOT be able to write new policies....that means it's NOT an option and you ARE forced. I will still be PAYING for my insurance AND be taxed for someone else's. "Private insurers - being anti-capitalistic - are also trying to avoid competition..." Yeah, that's exactly it's the GOVERNMENT that stops a person from being able to buy health...

I thought that based on the thread name that you were going to give a synopsis of all the threads you've created, but then I realized that would be entitled "Stupidity at it's worst." Create on, mindless troll.

And when he goes free agent at the end of this season we can thank both of them for giving up their prospects for him instead of us giving ours. He has already said he will definitely go free agent at the end of next year regardless of where he plays. Unless Halladay is moving to be the new closer, second baseman, catcher, or right fielder, we don't need him. Not to say I would not want him...

On her MSNBC show last night, the left-wing Air America host Rachel Maddow took a swipe at the conservative Shirley & Banister Public Affairs firm, specifically President and CEO Craig Shirley. Maddow accused Shirley of being behind a grassroots Web site funded by the group Grassfire.org, based on a research provided by the ?independent watchdog group Public Citizen,? and she showed still images ...
