True, but, thats all the more reason to keep things as unrestricted before the throttle body. And really, these engines are fairly high performance already. All good info! I emailed the guy from the gym that works at the local tuner shop and he is checking them out and going to get back to me with what could be done as far as welding them after they are on instead of using the connectors to help prevent leaks as well!

The flash to pass (pull back on the turn lever) does not turn of the low beams, so there is no worry about the warm up. Also, if it's done fast enough, there is no warm up as everything is already " charged up".

Dorman product are generally very good but if you can have them powdercoating they will last a lot longer. Mine are in very good condition but if I have to replace them that would be my plan and axle seals at the same time as they are only $10. 2 to 3 hours max. Thats my $.02 Matt

I have 195000KM on the truck Wouldn't hurt to replace those. I suggest getting Timken bearings and either buy or rent an at least 5lb slide hammer to get the bearing out. Jason, Is it throwing codes. Also check all your Vacuum lines and hoses cause if you step on the brake it will use vacuum via the master cylinder. Therefore if there is a leak it will stall your engine. (just an Idea to start). #7

You could go with the shorter magnaflow muffler(s), they will be louder. Flowmaster 40 series would be louder than that. Interesting that you say the dual in/dual out is so quiet, most threads complain of drone with the single muffler option. Where are you located?

We have been talking about meeting for dinner around Charleston for a while now and I think it's time to get that done. Last year on the Saturday before Christmas we got together for dinner at LaRoca in Cross Lanes... a few of our OH buddies joined us and enjoyed it so much they have requested we do it again. I know this is a busy time for everyone, but why not come to Charleston ...
