Fairly predictable in my experience, but you won't likely get a single break. Gonna have some pieces. pretty easy task all told. My opinion; worth price charged.

Chad, STEP AWAY FROM THE OCEANSIDE ! I know its alluring and pretty. Until very recently, the oceanside tile like the ones you have pictured are not well made or consistant. In a single square foot, there can be a few tiles that overlap the next tile, have deep ridges, of differing thicknesses, crooked on the sheet, are cupped, not square, sharp edged, you get the idea. This will not bode well for a floor where you have bare feet, even with...

Harris, I'll further endorse the "do not use PT lumber for your wall framing" sentiment. You're actually paying extra for trouble there. If you use it under any tile work, you can be almost certain that the tiling will crack. If you have a layout and/or pichers you're working on, go ahead and post 'em so we can see and help discuss any specifics you come up with. we likes pichers good luck with your project!

The Corvette has a 6 speed transmission and that can make all the difference on the highway. Knew a guy who had a newer Vette and he cruised to Laughlin, NV and back at around 85 MPH and got 28 MPG. Gotta remember they are pretty light, too.

Dan, something along the line at one time made me think you were Catholic or maybe it's Greg? Even in the good ole book it mentions in the last days that people would throw their gold and silver in the streets and this all happens before any savior supposedly arrives..............................they don't throw it there to exercise their arm but out of fustration and even if you don't want to take it literally then understand...

I bought mine way back when TLS was selling direct so I can't help on the pricing.

I got mine of ebay, I keep them wet and they seem to last forever, I've had zero success with the arrow head type, they haven't made it more then 2 jobs from my experience... The key is to keep them soaked in water at all times (if you don't already do this) use plumbers putty to make a doughnut shape, place over the hole, and fill it with water. As you drill you'll need to replenish the water, ...

Dont forget that some entities HAVE to sell at any cost so it doesnt matter-fatigued or not they sell to raise capital. All the hedge funds that sold credit default swaps, or funds that funded some of the stock purchases with AMPs need the capital back to pay off the contracts that they wrote.
Interesting that with the drumbeat of bad news this week the market ...

Brian,
First I would start with a shop vac and get all that grit off the tub. Grab some painters tape, brown paper, cardboard, old towels and protect that tub.
Cutting; some people try to put the tile protrusions (spigot, shower neck, spout...) centered along a grout joint so that cutting the holes is easier. This choice will limit your layout options. If you want to / can drill holes ...

I've never done this, and I dont recommend it. I know a guy who went into a non paying customers house with a sledge hammer and busted every tile he set. The lady freaked out and called the cops. Cop showed up and asked if he had been paid. Nope. Cop didn't do a thing.
Another person called a contractor and told him to meet him at said residence with a check and that he was on his way there ...

I think its too subjective.. One person thinks it looks good, the other not so much.. Did you and the H/O agree on grout joint width? Is the tile el cheapo stuff from the box stores? If it is, there is no way, you can maintain consistent grout width joints.

Hello and Welcome Alfred,
I am sorry to hear that things didn't turn out as planned with your install.
I just removed about 200s/f of grout joints yesterday from a 12x12 marble floor that had been waxed and burnished over the course of a few years. I used a Dremel Multi Max oscillating tool to remove the grout, though its age and presence of wax made it extremely difficult. With your ...
