You have 30 days to switch out the phone. Take a look at the BlackBerry Storm2 . BlackBerry has a word complete feature that you will probably like. My regular phone is a Storm1 and I can type faster on the Storm2. I reviewed the phone here: BlackBerry Storm 2 Review

Prepaid Cell Phones & Plans

Please don't compare boost and Verizon Wireless. They are two different companies with two different motives. Boost markets to the younger generation while Verizon Prepaid markets to the more "professional" population that simply can't get a contract. Verizon Wireless does have unlimited messaging available to prepaid which allows you to send unlimited messages to anyone, on any network for $20 per month. Verizon...

I don't think so. They usually don't want the equipment back, that's the most part of the money they want for the contract, to cover the equipment. It may run a bit more for the iPhone termination, because the phone is more expensive. Another way you may be able to get around the fee, or a reduced fee, tell them that you just got a new job, and you are moving to an area where AT&T doesn't have coverage.where you are...

The primary reason to own a BlackBerry is immediate access to e-mail. RIM's 'push' technology brings e-mail straight to the phone as soon as it is received. Normal smartphones use a 'poll' method, which is basically calling up an e-mail server to see if there are new messages. If you receive a message in between check-in times, you have to wait for your phone to call in again.

Don't post your IMEI in a public forum.
Check out e-bay or craigslist. You can find someone who will provide you with an unlock code for under $10.

Please note: The 8830 will not work on North American carriers since it is a dual band phone. Dual band phones will only work on the ...

Also have the same problem, usually you could just change to a time zone in which it would be an hour behind, but it won't even allow me to do that, and I cancel DST and it sets the Halifax time zone back an hour but whne i select this time zone, mine remains the same..
Edit: Apparently your service provider is suppose to change the network and this will change your time, but mine hasn't yet..

Found the answer!
Here is what I did. Try this....
menu 9 "settings and tools" press OK
Go to menu item "phone info" press OK
highlight menu 1 "my number" and push #....it should ask you for your user lock...this is where you will put in 6 zeros.
Then go to MTP settting, and once your there, change MTP to MSM, this will allow your computer to communicate to the phone. Now you ...
