A very tough decision
Published (2009-11-12 20:26:00)
Actually, I disagree - ideally training as a puppy does involve taking a dog's food - so that he/she knows you are dominant, and that you can. That said, people don't often do that. And from under a bed, I can see a dog that isn't seriously aggressive doing that. If the wife doesn't try to take the dog's food again, it probably won't bite her. However - I can see the wife being afraid. If some dog bit me in the...

There are electric page turners, but most don't work very well, and are a PITA to run. Has he been fit with and know how to use a mouth stick? If so, he might do better with a Kindle or similar device for reading. I know we have several people who use those who frequent these forums. Using a good quality book stand and a mouth stick is also an option for many: http://www.mouthstick.net/ Here are souce resources listing companies that...

I think too, that this specific sort of situation .... where the dog was "in his den" with a bone, can be avoided. And this shouldn;t happen again. I would try and get your wife to give him another chance, perhaps with the provision that any future signs of aggression, then you would get him a new home? (I have found too, that bones seem to bring out the undomesticated animal ..... we gace our normally very docile Lab a huge...

Thoracic Spine destruction

Quote: C2-t4 that's quite a range. Does this limit your range of motion dramatically? Oh yeah. The nine-level fusion means almost complete spinal immobilization from the waist up, and significant impairment of my ROM when turning my head -- I can turn it about 15 degrees to the left, 20 degrees to the right, and 10 degrees up, but I can touch my chin to my chest. Some of the up-down restriction is due to the 90 degree kyphosis in that...

I choose philosophy. It is also worth mentioning that there seems to be no national PR coordinated effort. Too bad Christopher Reeve isn't around.... he would be pushing praxis.

Dr. Young, all - untethering surgery in Nov. (maybe)
I may be having my cord untethered next month (primarily because I have come to the "I have run out of things to try, and pains dominate my life" stage.) The neurosurgeon again was honest about the chance of it helping (not that likely), but he thinks the area (he's the only ...

I think that hub locks are for rigid chairs, the GTX is folding, so maybe you will have some problems with the wires when you will fold the chair, and you don`t have a camber tube for fix the brakes.
Scissors lock are nicer, but push lock are quickier and easier to lock the wheels.

The risk of not getting it is greater than the risk of getting the vaccine. Especially if you have visiting PCA's that come into contact with others, especially children.

HipCrip, In Massachusetts if you are eligible for Medicare you are also eligible for Medigap coverage at whatever age, so it must be different from state to state..to territory. I had to wait the usual two years to qualify for Medicare, but my Medex coverage from BC/BS kicked in simultaneously.
