Canon 50mm 1.4 vs. Canon 17-55mm...

F1.4 is two stops away from f2.8. This means you will have 4x slower shutter speeds in the same light. Yes, it is VERY noticeable. The IS can help, but if you end up at at 1/20 instead of 1/80 like on the 50mm 1.4, you won't be able to shoot people very well.

I like the commercials With WinXP, I had nothing but stalls etc...and although I know it's the same innards, the op system is far superior to me anyways. I am thrilled with my Mac.

Alright, so we did not stay for the angels yesterday so my wife wanted to go back today. We went close to the end and almost missed them because we could not find parking. We had to park about two miles away and run to the beach. I thought I was going to be watching football today. So here are a few that I got today as well.

Nice shots. I really wanted to go back this year, but, just didn't have the

The 8800's are designed to be used in a kiosk with Kodak's software. How friendly are you with your local photo lab? Any store that has the kiosks will (or at least should, if no one threw them out) have a set of install discs, and it will have the drivers on it. If you take your laptop in, you might find someone friendly enough to let you load the drivers on your laptop (or copy the disc). Short...

Oh, it's those ones I knew of the 2.4ghz Yongnuo ones but I never found out the name of them. Yongnuo make decent stuff IMO! I'm still happy with my two YN460 flashes.

We like to see the pictures from 7D, There are numerous threads with lot of talks, no pictures or pictures buried down the thread.
This thread is for real world 7D pictures and technical details of the shot only . Thats it.
Thanks in advance for the lucky few having the newest toy in hand.

I just bought a boat load of Alien Bees stuff. Check my sig to see all the money I blew... Stuff just arrived and no formal shooting yet. did some test shots just to make sure it all works. The giant umbrella softbox was damaged so when I called today they were super quick to take care of me and are sending out a new one with a call tag for the broken one. I'm pretty stoked on my experience ...

I wanted to share my OCF process with you guys..... others may do the same or even have something totally different that they do:
When shooting wireless, which is most of the time, we either shoot via the built-in IR of the Canon Flash or we have just started using Radio Poppers. We like both of these because they both allow for us to shoot using eTTL. This takes a lot of the guess work ...

Marloon,
I have had my 135L for about 2 months now and no dust inside. I'm not using full frame so it is even longer for me on my 500D.
To be honest, I always look forward to using it. Whenever I can use it, I do. I use it for candid street shoots, etc. Also use it for shoulder and head shots. I have also used it at a distance for full bodied shots and small group shots - I know, I am ...
