Jenlieb , I'll go out on a limb, here, and suggest that Mexican nurses are not subject to the freeze you spoke of (it's officially referred to as "regression"), owing to the provisions of NAFTA. And, please understand, I'm not jumping on you, I just want to check out what you ran across on the internet. Please send us the website, and I'll have a look at it. I could be under a misimpression. Well, you were right on one thing, it is far more efficient and time saving to obtain a fiance visa and marry a Mexican in the States...than to marry in the foreign country and then apply for permission.
I may marry a Mexican woman, and whereas I can't speak for anyone else, we will simply deal with tourist visas for her, when and if the occasion arises. She has no desire to ever live in ...

I've used Expedia a lot, probably about ten times! I've never had any trouble at all with them. I have also used travelocity, but never Orbitz, so I can' comment on that one. I say if its cheaper on expedia, go for it!

V,
Well, sort of. As it gets cooler most people cut back on their air conditioning and the bills net out at pretty much the same.
Great information, nonetheless.
I guess, though, if you are like me and decide to stay cool all the time, you get the mordida when you see the CFEmbill.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Besides.. spending 845 Billion to add health care for 31 million people, or 27 Billion per person if you need help with the math, is such a great deal. We should all celebrate and give each other a car since we own the company.

if you're going to Cancun to party 24/7 then the Oasis is the spot to be....if you don't mind getting in some sleep at a nicer hotel, in a nicer spot, the Krystal is the place. I've stayed at both, and I would stay at the Krystal 100 times before staying at the Oasis again. Yes, its a party hotel, but thats all it has to offer. The Krystal, to me, is alot better because its literally right next ...

What have you all gone through just to get to Spring Break? Selling off something valuable, take on a second job, or in Andrew's case (from what I can remember) quitting your job? Let the rooks know how important this trip means to you all every year. I can speak for myself this year by saying I can only attend if my (hopeful) new career allows me the week off during training. After this year ...

Dear friends,
Sadly, the tenant that ended up renting my mom's studio turned out to be a real case. He's not even into his first month and he's already showed his true, ugly colors.
Long story short, he's an alcoholic, has stopped going to work , and has (obviously) made the neighbors uncomfortable.
He's also not mexican, but british.
So my question to you is: what ...

I personally don't think the fact that he's foreign should have anything to do with your decision making.
If he's causing that much of a problem, as a landlord it's your job to talk with him yourself, make him aware that the neighbors feel uncomfortable with his presence and try to come to a compromise. Try to help him out before you make any radical decisions like evicting him.

So, it comes up every year, who is retired, who is not, who will be back next year and who is going to England for spring break
So, I was talking with Andrew a few days ago (the Brett Favre of Spring Break) and I told him I was already thinking ahead to 2011. Likely not the best idea, but I couldnt fathom not being in Cancun.
With that in mind, let's take a preliminary poll (...
