Wood67 Shad deserves to be freed, but at the same time I don't think a mild 'time-out' is a bad thing.  The difference between the two from what I can see is that while one has openly accepted where he went wrong and has committed to making an effort to change, the other continues to complain and quite clearly does not see where the problem lies.  It's the difference between pleading guilty and not...

This isn't the avatar that Shad commented on, but it shows Peter's "bodybuilding" very well.  this was on one of his songs in Pete's soundclick site. dave - no worries, I just wanted to make sure that MIS-information wasn't being spread.  I also agree that shad is a good guy with good intentions most of the time.  shad and I have had disagreements in the past - some very heated...

It appears that the upgrade removes the existing version of the Plugin. Is the new version still a plugin, and if so, how does it present itself in the Sonar UI? Like the old version Yea, its still a VST. Its listed under my VST in my plugin manager. It just that the name doesn't have plugin in it anymore. It looks like the old plugin. Ive only played with it on a scratch vocal and i missed pitches on purpose so i could fix it. It did a...

First close the project and re-open it. There is a documented bug in which envelope nodes get locked into place if you accidentally click the right mouse button while adjusting an envelope.

Yep - move the samples to where you want them You should have a 'Dim Pro' folder and inside you have the ''multisamples' folder - So that's what has to be in the address Mine is: F:\Samples Folder\Dimension Pro\multisamples (The 'Sample Folder' bit is my own created folder) Your address looks like what's in the 'contents folder' and not the ...

No its not hard to do it the pro tools has a $500 OMF converter. just save as an OMF in PT and open it up in sonar. Otherwise, you'll need to export each track as a broadcast wave file. This way each track is stamped with a time stamp and when imported into a project set at the same tempo, it will know where to go Cj...

I'm pretty sure that Dim Solo is a playback only feature and does not get copied when exporting tracks from Sonar. Again, I'm not cure of this but it seems only logical.

highlight the track (usually i solo the track as well which may or may not be necessary), then click process-->apply audio effects. then follow the prompts. all plugins in the fx bin will be applied to the track.

Jonbouy But if it was because the other he implied that 'Peter Rabbit' was on Steroids (I can't believe I'm writing this) then all I can say is the Mods are doing a difficult job well. Whoa! I gotta step in here, since Fox has been silenced. I'm pretty sure the steroids remark was a friendly joke referring to Peter Rabbit's avatar (young boy with drawn-in facial hair). I ...

Freezing is really nothing more than a quick bounce - and should be used to free up CPU's (especially while tracking.) The sound quality issue is a moot point because this is not your final bounce. If there is a quality difference it is not one you should pick up on during tracking. Brian

I think 150 posts will give you bronze and 500 or 1000 will give you silver but I don't really remember. All you have to do is make 300 songs and post them all in the songs forum and you'll reach gold in a minute <message edited by Legion on November 16, 09 3:34 AM>
