Hood ornament broke, is it...
Published (2009-11-20 17:08:00)
Replace the hood ornament.... There is no "Glue" that will hold a broken one together. My Dad's gold hood ornament on his '94 Fleetwood broke - right at the base where the wire that holds it together attaches. Of course GM has discontinued the ornament but he found a "new old stock" one on ebay.

That ad is reproduced in my 1997 Eldorado Owners' Manual. I have a text copy somewhere that I copied from an old Xerox that I read for inspiration occasionally when I was younger. I have a simpler way of saying this in polite company: "The Chinese have a saying, 'The high nail gets the hammer.' This kind of thinking kept them in the Bronze Age for 8,000 years." Update: Start but wont stop I think I have come a bit closer now. During searching, and testing I unfortunately pulled out a relay while ignition where ON I caused engine failure lamp to come on. I decided to charge the battery inside my garage over night. I removed the battery and charged it fully, when I connected it I heard the fuel pump running for the 2sec it shall run, went inside the car and noticed that Instruments where on and well -...

Lol reading across the web GM / Cadillac have gotten good coverage and attention on the new Coupe. The BMW guys think it looks too much like a cross-over or SUV, with such a high rear. I think when they see it in person they will change their minds. Or not perhaps -- they have lived through the Bangle years of BMW design, so they may have lost their taste in cars altogether....

Just came back from a 2,500 mile trip. Most tanks of fuel...I averaged 22 to 23.5. I have a lead foot. A lot of the open highway driving was at around 90 MPH.
