Virgin 50mb Broadband
Published (2009-11-02 19:26:00)
Sorted: I have always used Wireless G as that is built into my laptop, even when sat right next to the router it would max out at 20Mb. Stuck a N USB adpater in and I'm now up to about 40Mb. QUOTE Not possible as you will have a different MAC address to go through the DORA process and will have a new IP by default. I am using the same Router on 50Mb as on 20Mb so MAC address is the same - still got my old IP (which is handy as I...

QUOTE (The Yank @ Nov 6 2009, 02:17 PM) Just got a Toshiba 22DV615DB for the study but now the remote won't control the volume. The VM box is Samsung 2100C and the remote is the Blue one. Even if I had the code (don't know where to get it from) I don't remember who to use it anyway. Can anyone help? don't worry - cracked it - didn't realize there were online instructions

There is no picture coming from either the on-board VGA port or the graphics card's VGA and no beeping if there is no RAM inserted. The fan on the processor spins, you can hear the hdd working fine and both disc drives will open and close as normal. I've...

Try resetting the BIOS via the motherboard jumper and see if that helps at all. Alternatively, remove the cmos battery for a few minutes and operate the power switch before replacing the battery, this will also reset the BIOS. I take it you have connected any cpu specific power supply connectors?

Actually £47 is only £10 more than XL Broadband when you have it on it's own. Basically same difference between L (4Mb) and XL (20Mb) which is a £12 difference If you have other services you can get it for less -------------------- All views are my own and in no way reflect the views of Virgin Media or any associated company.
