The benefits are most apparent when you have a large amount of random access memory (RAM) installed on your computer, typically 4 GB of RAM or more. In such cases, because a 64-bit operating system can handle large amounts of memory more efficiently than a 32-bit operating system can, a 64-bit system can be more responsive when running several programs at the same time and switching between them frequently. The unanswered question: Is 64-bit...

Sometimes it's simply learning where the BIOS needs to be set.. Other times, it's a bad CD/DVD drive that needs to be replaced.. But without the traditional method for booting from the CD, you'll have a tough time making anything work. Here, we always install to the C: drive simply because there are so many programs which require C: to be the primary drive. It's up to you. Hope this helps. Grif

CMDawg69, I don't have any advance notice on firmware updates. I'll be looking into this to get a better answer. I can't speak on the firmware updates, but we are doing everything possible to improve the features and add new features. Sometimes this kind of progress results in having to take a step backwards, and these issues aren't fun, nor are issues that arise always forseeable...

This is another wonderful example of how the state of CA is truly messed up. Instead of fixing their budget, schools, poor public spending choices and quality of life, they sidestep these issues and focus on what they consider a policy to lead the climate change issue.

I appreciate you listing the specs for the Panasonic TC-P50S1. They're great, the only problem I've encountered is that in the advanced settings menu, the option for " Black level" is set to dark, and it's grayed out. Is there a way that I would somehow be able to adjust this, because the TV looks great, aside from the black being slightly too dark? Thanks

Being the curious person I am I installed this firwmare against my better judgement. To my surprise it worked the exact same as 2.04. Even though I see no changes everything works great. My wireless continues to work good and will play a full netflix HD movie with out hiccups. I think people with wireless issues either have poorly configured routers or a house that blocks signals(ie. ...

I feel like I've gone into a department store where everything has been rearranged, re-cataloged and renamed. I can't find the sock department without stumbling over women's purses. Megapixels are figured up by multiplying the horizontal resolution by the vertical resolution. This will give you the number of pixels in an image. Megapixels are one million pixels. Sensor size doesn't have as much bearing on the final print, until you go really large and with a lot of megapixels. The larger the sensor, the shallower depth of field and the pixel density on the ...
