I am very proud to say that my 73 Super "The Blues" is being spotlighted this year on the 2009 Bugtoberfest T-shirts by Chirco's ace Automotive Illustrator Lemorris Harris. Look here to see Lemorris' work: http://www.lemorris.com/ I will represent Superbeetles.com and write a review of the show with lots of photos. Here's a great opportunity to bring your VW to the great Arizona Sonoran...

"Love, Valour, Compassion" also, on the TV show from the '70's, "Alice"... the three girls team up to buy a classic Beetle sunroof sedan from the diner owner, Mel.

My gate signs is a 70 beetle cut in half. I bought them on there way to the crusher, had pop out windows worth more then metal weight. It was cut inhalf 15 or so yrs ago and seemed to be in nice shape, its some what of a shame.

Hi Wayne Sounds like you have the same problem I have with my 76. While I am not going to do a permanent fix on mine (just por15 and fiberglass) I have repaired this on a friends car. First you need to find a donor car that you can cut the pannels out of. Use a sawsall or something to get them out and cut them bigger than what you need. This way you (or your body man) can cut them to size with a...

Sorry, VWs in Australia never had rear window demisters or the Gas heater... that diagram looks like its for the heater... thats a wild guess... or maybe to light the heater?? I've never heard of a gas fired heater in any other car... they may have been in Europe?? Hopefully someone on here will be able to fill you in... it will be -2C tonight and in the morning......

While the t4 engine was used in the 914 and I think the 912, it is really just a VW engine. As far as mixing and matching Porsche to Bug... I think it's just like the t4 engine, it'll fit... with some work and some more money than what it would cost if you just stayed with upgraded VW components. While I can say that if you put a 911/930 Porsche up on a lift and a Super Beetle up on one right ...

(change was around late 74) This tranny would have a sleeve on the inside that covers the input shaft and the throwout bearing slides back and forth over this... the sleeve is held in place with three bolts. The clutch cover plate that you have is incorrect for this...
