sock blowouts - Page 4 - CK5 Forums

Is it just work boots that wear through socks? Seriously, i replace socks probably every 2 years, and maybe get 1 or 2 holes in that timespan. I've started wearing timberland shoes every day in teh last few years. No issues. In my case ('74 PU, obviously later hydroboost), the brake pedal levers were different, i.e. the attachment point for the booster was not the same. But yes, the brake lever interchanges, so you can remove all three pedals, switch the brake one, then put the assembly back. Others have said that later pedals are identical; I can't verify this. -- A

I spent a week in Fallon one day. I love NV and hope to retire there someday. I wheel all around Hawthorne, Yerington, Wellington, Mina, and along the NV/CA border... __________________ When men yield up the privilege of thinking, the last shadow of liberty quits the horizon. Thomas Paine

Clamps will work just fine. Once you crimp the pipes though, they will be harder to seperate later. Not as hard as weld would be. Shouldn't have any issues with leaks, as long as the pipes fit each other correctly.

Ok, I've had problems with my '85 doors doing the same thing and I've found the best way to unlock them is to give the handle a good hit with the lower pad or palm of your hand and then try unlocking it.
Lots of times when I put the key in, it wouldn't turn all the way to unlock. So I give the handle a good hit which is enough to "push" the door back in and "reset" the latch inside to enough...

I don't think it was really any modification to the firewall, but there were some minor changes to the cowl area. Mostly just involving the wiper stanchions, since the pre-81's had short stanchions to clear the hood.
I believe Rene was talking about this at one point, and we did a bit of research. It's been a while though, so it may have been someone else.
Overall, from what I remember, ...
