Firstly, before the flaming starts, I would like to say I am NOT an MLG fanboy. Just preferring BR starts does not make me anything of the sort. In fact, I am a rather modest level 15 in MLG, and dislike the playlist due to the different settings to regular slayer. As someone rightly said, comparing Slayer BRs to MLG is like comparing Team Rockets to Rocket Race, or Team Magnums to SWAT Magnums....
