*Ping* Dave - RAM Controls
Published (2009-11-25 18:14:00)
I'd like to mention that I received a package from Dave less than 24 hours from my request to ship the roller controller separately from the Major Havoc CP. I didn't need shipping like that - parcel post would have been fine - but he shipped it cross country overnight. This thing is really nice . We can debate some of his practices but we sure as hell cannot debate quality.

Ya getting there. Unfortunately, I have a course that is tying up my after work hours and some home projects that have required my attention...I will be back on this over the next few weeks. Last thing I want to do is rush it...all the parts are in and the pieces have been cut so just need to measure/measure/laminate/paint/ again and assemble

No worries on the acrylic, just give me a shout. Personally, I think it would look nicer if the whole juke had the same profile as the front piece. I'm not really digging the angled back section with just the facia on it. If you did want to go down the fully curved route and since it is fairly thin it would be pretty easy to make a piece like the attached picture and then template route it and build up the layers. A 3/4"...

Sorry I couldn't have been more specific as I don't ever really really mess with that side of things. (PC, MAME, resolution tools, etc) All I could tell is it was a definite resolution problem. Glad you figured it out this far.

That is a nice looking Ms. Pac cocktail. It's a shame you're going to destroy it. You also do know that LCD's absolutely suck in a cocktail setting as the image gets dimmer the further off center you sit and unless you plan on standing over the cab looking directly down at it you're going to experience a much dimmer image...right? To test how bad it will be, turn on the tv, ...

Hello All, Let me just start by saying that I'm a thirty-something guy that spent many-a-quarter in the arcade back in the 80's, and I was absolutely intrigued by this whole "MAME" phenomenon when I was first introduced to it in the late '90s. I played around with it on my computer some, and then put it on the shelf, deciding it was neat, but really just not the same experience as ...

Good luck with the venture, I'm currently in talks about a very different arcade-orientated business but I can let you know what I've learned so far. 1. No, all profit will be yours. Buying and owning original machines gives you rights to use it, within the restrictions of your local laws. Not sure about the US, but in the UK these fall under the same licence as vending machines, which...

Just make sure there are win98 hardware drivers for EVERYTHING in your machine before you install it. Better still, install windows 98 inside a VM on your box and get the best of both worlds.

Nice, I'm interested to see this. Gotta love mini-cabs for sure. Good luck with the Xbox mod, I've never modded one before either, but I know that the Mobo on that thing is almost as big as the box is deep and wide.
