Fresh outta the joint and picked up a new Vista machine and an HTC Touch . I like it so far but every time I plug it into my rig, every time I change something on the device while it's plugged into my rig, everytime I look at it the wrong way while it's plugged in it starts to sync. Back in tha hood with my old XP machine I was able to use ActiveSync to tell it to only sync when I ...

Previously used Tungsten E and had good use out of it. Used keyboard a lot. When it died upgraded to TX . Having good use out of that, but both times have had same problem with keyboard (I've been through about FOUR keyboards - some under warranty and some not): Keyboard works like a charm for a few weeks and then certain keys on right-hand side of keybaord eg. l : arrows , and other keys stop...

link Towards the end Seinfeld asks for a signal that MS will come out with something that makes computers as simple as eating moist and delicious cake (or something like that). Then Bill gives him the signal ... But I can't believe what I heard! It sounded like ... (well listen to it and tell me what you hear)! The link's author is kind of hard on MS I think. It was sort of ...

Sorry if it's a simple fix, but, I can't find where to disconnect from the web. Right now I have to power down the phone and restart it but there has to be a better way.

I am amazed after just checking the HP website that there are none of the 'cradles' yet that were promised for the 21x. This is bringing back memories of the expansion promises of the hx4700 that never came to pass. Just whining I guess. Not'n you guys can do about it... Scratching my head in wonderment...

Axim X51V vs X50V? I am looking at getting one or the other of these devices. I used to have the X50V and was wondering if the difference between them is great enough to hold out just for the X51V , or are the differences rather minimal? I want the best screen resolution since I want to use this for functional aspects as well as a ...

A new science-fiction series includes one of the characters using a very advanced smartphone running someone's concept of a future version of Windows Mobile. The Gemini Division is produced by NBC, but it's available only online. The first webisode starts off with the lead character, played by Rosario Dawson, using an ultra-slim device that's clearly labeled with the Windows Mobile logo...

You know I'm not prone to hyperbole, but I have to say that this should be considered a must-see for anyone who's paying attention. If you're an American, you owe it to yourself and your country to see it for the sake of being informed about the future of our country and the coming election. If you're from around the world, you need to see what the best of America looks like. ...

Name The Company With any luck, this year I will be able to harvest about 100 pounds of honey. The plan is to bottle, then sell it and see if I can recoup some of my initial investment. I'm currently in the process of having someone design a label for the jar but I'm lacking a very important componet.... the name. I need a name for ...

This one will have to sit in OT unless there a release for mobile devices. Earlier today Google released a new web browser called Chrome. While the features will be quite similar to those used on FF3, Opera, IE, and Safari, the entire archecture is different. Its based on Webkit (like Safari and Nokia's S60 Browser) but there is a new JavaScript engine that prettty much kicks butt with it....

Hey guys and gals............. hows it going for you all? I have been a busy little bluefish. I have to admit to feelings in the not too recent past of seeming a little small around the likes of those members with huge err.......rep counts, but all that is gone I see. I do not think it will be missed much, but I suppose it had it's uses. Any old how, that is not the reason for my ...

This is so tangential that I almost put it in off-topic, but it is ultimately praise for Backupman as a backup solution for non-NVFS devices, so.... As you may or may not know, I recently picked up a, well, retro device on ebay. I am using it as a writing machine, a Neo+ , meaning I am not hotsyncing it. I am using a card reader along with Pruss' MyInstall. I use a USB cable to send ...
