Just installed and took a look at Gimp. How intimidating! That will take a learning curve! lol I'm not sure that the tools are so different than in paint.net (though there do seem to be some things Gimp has that PDN doesn't), as much as it has a different...what's the word...layout of everything.

My sincere welcome to you! You write your feelings so well, I really got a sense of how you must feel, what you're going through. I love my kids with all my heart, but it's hard to imagine I'd be up for raising 'their' kids someday. You've really stepped up for your grandkids, thank God they have you. Do you have family members or other support to help? Very recently a friend of my daughter's was adopted by...

We will give you as much support as we can! I'm sorry the parents won't step up to the plate, but so glad those children have someone to love and care for them. It sure is a tough job! Are there any particular problems you need immediate help or support with? Oh, yeah, welcome to this group- we feel your pain and share your joy!

Eva, your story is so familiar to those of us with chronic pain. I am very thankful I could work through pain until it got too severe in my 30s. I was able to get married have two wonderful kids and have great success in my career even though it was a short career. I was not only successful as a coach but I loved working with the teenagers I came in contact with. I can only imagine how tough it would have been going through this pain in my...

They had two lists, one was high risk people who could get the shot. The second list was things that would disqualify you from the shot: having a fever, having a virus, having Guillan Barre, Having MS, being allergic to eggs, being allergic to the flu vaccine in the past.

Falling and leaving the stove on (Dangerous) is not normal forgetfulness. Something is def. going on. , I am asking all to please second this, I know we are not Doctors, but we do know when something is absolutly not normal memory loss. Please follow through and...

Have you tried someplace that has a 'geek' type squad? I know you don't hold them in the highest regard, but it does seem to be the best place for you to apply your skills...best buy, staples...things like that? Obviously you know the economy stinks...just be patient, it's likely more a factor of that than anything else...keep plugging away! Have you looked at Monster or any of those type sites?

It's not just your case........Mine too. But I was just offering that as a suggestion.... I was in an intensive treatment program where most of the clients only have primarily psychiatric problems. There were a few (me being one) who had quite a few medical problems, too. I am out of that program now, but if I don't get anywhere with this new psychiatrist, I am going the route of my PCP as well, because like you said, in your case,...

G'day.
Well our own personal experience, the answer would be a resounding yes. Grant did quite often get croup like problems probably until he was about 15. At those times when we took him to the doctor, the doc would suggest croup remedies such as breathing in moist air etc.
Best wishes to master Tyler for good health.
Seeya,

Nothing too unusual about a tic. It's annoying as h*ll, but I wouldn't be too worried about it.

There are audio books; is that an option? Make sure you do the National MS Society's stretching daily; they even have one with a helper if need be.
I'm sorry you're down. Have you contacted your NMSS's chapter to see if there is someone who could drop by weekly to get to know you and visit. Our chapter have people who do that for those stuck at home.
If it continues, talk to your doctor...

Hi Peg and all the rest to come along later. Peg, sounds like you and your husband are having fun, but it is different to have someone kind of under foot when you are not used to it.
Hope all the storm damage will be soon cleaned up and get that behind you. How's the Novantrone doing? Let us know how you feel and what changes you see.

Aaron, the first thing you have to do is remember, never give up. I have read many stories here of courage and heart rendering strength. We all suffer from illness here and most of us accepted the fact the this country does everything in it's power to fight fraud, sometimes stepping over the rest of us to reach their goal. It isn't easy and I admit I had many days when I lost all hope. But ...

I'm about 7 grand in debt. I plan on paying off a car loan and 5 CCs. I've already cancelled the 5 cards but might keep one for emergencies. I could care less about my credit score. I also plan on stockpiling food,DVD movies and Blu-ray movies. I should still have alittle money left over after paying off debt.

I thought of several people from BrainTalk yesterday Yesterday I went we Bronners.."the worlds largest Christmas store"; it's open year round & the whole town is a Christmas town, Frankenmuth, Michigan. We go with the relatives from out of town, every yr. The store is very big & has about any Xmas decoration you can think of. I saw some glass pig ornaments & thought of Porkette, horse ones & ...

Michelle,
I don't have any advice, but I do have experience. I had a ruptured annie in May 2005. The angiogram showed 6 more, unruptured. I had two surgeries on the right side of my head with the original hospitalization. Then 6 months later had surgery on the left side to clip 3 on that side. Then the angiogram showed another (1.5mm) one on that side. It was in a difficult place for ...
