I think it is subjective. Not sure if the PQ will be much different. I did not notice any difference between my Panny BD35 and the Oppo with BD's. I saw in improvement with SD's. You also gain the ability to play SA-CD's and DVD-A's which your Panny BD60 could not do. If you do not plan on using SACD's and DVD-A's and will be connecting it with HDMI, then there may be lass expensive players out there. It really...

Hear hear, all opinions should be respected and tolerated. I have said and believed that all along, and I always will. Back on topic, I picked up Hero despite all the negative remarks. Wow, what a mistake. You can really tell the difference with the lossy audio track. Damnit Miramax, please give us a re-release

I used the MCACC with my SC-25 and I thought it did a much better job than the more basic Audyssey setup in my Onkyo 605. Note that the 605 does not have the "full" Audyssey program. I'm still going to fine tune with an SPL meter though. I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

Did you read any of the other threads that are basically the same as this? There are several (some on page 1). To make it quick, get 1080p unless you're getting a smaller TV and/or sitting far away from your TV. Knowing how much you are willing to spend is obviously a big factor as well.

Coming soon - Sword of the Stranger - (Genre: Samurai/action).
I think many anime fans who love action samurai period type of films will dig this. A lot of emphasis on the fight scenes. I interviewed the Director Masahiro Ando although no spoilers, best to read after you watched the film.
