Hi there! There is indeed a problem with valid PINs being rejected on the RIM support forms...but there is also a resolution path for that. However, that fix cannot be posted publicly in the forums. After the final failed attempt, it wipes the device completely clean -- kind of factory fresh. Everything you had (contacts, emails, calendar, etc.) will be gone. Why not try using the JDE instead of the Eclipse plugin? That might be simpler for getting started.
