Research in Motion (the maker of the BlackBerry) doesn't warranty the phone. You need to deal with whoever you bought the phone from.

Apple of BB Which stock to buy?
Published (2009-11-07 11:44:00)
This question is worth revisiting, especially with the moves in the common shares of both AAPL and RIMM. Apple just recently reported a boffo quarter, with iPhone sales blowing the roof off all estimates. The stock had a dramatic move upwards, then retreated from levels best characterized by "irrational exuberance". RIM's stock retreated after numbers disappointed for their last quarter. I think some pre-earnings hype...

Wirelessly posted (8820) Ok, opinions are like ... well, you know. But with all the nagativity I am reading, I have to say I like the way the blackberry does things. And I like the browser -- 90% of the time it is all I need when I'm mobile, and the other 10% of the time I get by. When I'm on-the-move-mobile, I like the simple mobile versions of the full-version websites I use on the PC or netbook. Maybe it's me, but I'm...

Never encountered this before and not an Exchange guy, but it sounds like it might be a service book issue. Try deleting the Desktop CMIME one and then reactivate (dont wipe and EA). Worth a shot.

I just shut off BB Router service, updated the permissions and I'm going to turn it back on in about 30 minutes or so.
I don't have high hopes for that fix though.....hmmmmmm

works, it will reposition me but the map never loads, it just loses the
connection. I cant figure out the problem.

I'm on AT&T and I too am getting tired of the Bold being slow. The network is very slow in Vermont since we still don't have 3G, though when they took over Unicel network they said it would be here soon. Most towns have 2 bar reception unless in the Hills then it's hit or miss, in the cities 3 /4 Bars & SLOW! Bring on the Droid & hope it's better.

How often does it happen? Does it happen only while you are talking? Do you have an error code? Have you done a battery pull recently?

That's a heck of deal. I paid full fair of $579 and I still love the deal. You're going to love the Storm 2. They nailed this phone so perfectly.
