it looks like an Aelle sticker. The tubing seemless used on recreational, sports, enthusiast levels, all could apply. the same family as the tube sets you've mentioned, lower priced though. Still quite light and good. It was used in touring bikes and tandoms as well. I've associated Diamant with Germany as well. The paint scheme is characteristic and isn't in that bad of condition. Hello. My friend brought up an older road bike, with huretparts. And this symbol. If you need pics of the bike, however it has been repainted, let me know. My best guess is the bike is from the late 70's early 80's. Here is the symbol that is also marked on the frame in a couple of locations.

I personally think lights should be mandatory. However , I would note that having a reflector on the back of a bike, but requiring a headlight makes a lot of sense. Having a head light makes you visible to cross traffic. If somebody is coming off of a cross street, and planning to go across the intersection, or turn right - a front reflector is useless, because their ...

Oh, and by the way, if you're on a group ride that's hogging the road, and some motorist beeps at you to get the F over to the right, don't flip them the bird. They are correct, and all you have to do is ride on the white line so they can pass. I mean, figure it out.

non-laminated leather straps for $70? no thanks. who cares if they're made by couriers in san francisco? they could by made by magical elves in a far away kingdom, they'll still stretch. highest quality what? aesthetically pleasing, yes, but there are more durable and secure options. looks arent everything.
