Aye, it's easier on the eyes. And SoundToys plugins are now working, but the URS Channel Strip Pro is still not passing audio, though the meters are working within the plugin.

I know I've run into this before, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. I have one Logic song where the latency is absolutely terrible - like a full second between hitting a key and getting a sound out of any instrument. If I start up a new song, latency is near non-existent... I've tried reloading instruments, adjusting Audio preferences (buffer settings, etc.) ...

Depends on what style your going for, is it an old style (Dem Bow etc) sound your after or the modern digital dancehall/dubstep/breakcore sound? For the old style stuff you can go far wrong with 808's and 909's and any crappy "casio keyboard" style drum sounds. For the new style anything goes really(for me the heavier that better). As for artists try: Al Haca Sound System StereoTyp...

I'm really looking forward to the release of Spectrasonics Omnisphere. How about it Erik? When can we expect a release? Not hassling you understand, just keen. Those videos have really whet my appetite BTW, I understand that Omnisphere effectively replaces Atmosphere, but what about Trilogy? will you be developing a replacement for that or will Omnisphere cover bass as well? ...

hello all, the DULCITONE is a rare and beautiful portable keyboard that was originally made for missionaries to hump around remote african village churches to perk up hymn services. it has a very basic piano action with spring loaded felt covered hammers striking small magnet shaped tuning forks. its a bit like a Fender Rhodes electric piano without the electric bit and has a woody,...

Are you on an Intel Mac or PowerPC? If you're Intel, you'll need to get the wrappers for Trilogy and Atmosphere to work properly. You can get the wrapper downloads from the Spectrasonics site. If you're on PowerPC, things should work fine. Atmosphere and Trilogy are working fine for me on my G5. _________________ Mokolai Fire Snake Studios Davidson, NC Logic ...

Mine would be Zatoichi, a Japanese Samurai film. (2003, Japan Dir- Takeshi Kitano) because it's excellent on so many levels. I've recently had to write an essay deconstructing and analyzing the sound design and music for a film (for uni). I chose Zatoichi and that's what got me thinking about unusual but excellent films. Any recommendations?[/code] _________________ ...

Hi, i'm looking for a stable audio batch converter which has similar features as sample manager. Is there any out in the wild? I need the following: remove dc offset, normalizing, maybe remove hum or use notch filters and it must do that in place (to the original file), not to a new folder! and of course very high quality sample rate conversion. Thnx a lot. Chris

This is a dumb question. I am able to get to the screen where the arpeggiator is in Logic, however I can't figure out how to hook it up and use it. The manual doesn't shed any light on this topic. Thanks
