I have heard some people say we are fighting Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. How many Al Qaeda are in Afghanistan and how important are these Arabs to the Taliban? I am not saying the Taliban are our friends, but should Karzai be?

Ah, good point. They probably would have been better off letting her statement go unchallenged. I think Palin might be right about the current proposals. I think it will drive up the cost. The re may also be a shortage.
