OK Dreamers - Perfect boat for you!
Published (2009-12-21 22:49:21)
Please put in singular line format as shown below. No running paragraphs with thirteen thoughts. 1. If we were building your perfect bass boat, what would you absolutely have to have on it. 2. What length and horsepower would it be 3. What price tag honestly would be your range 4. What item now on one would you not need and delete for any reason. 5. Any other item you might think of to add? 6. Would you be interested in an economy Sabre in a...

Those of you with Bay Cats??
Published (2009-12-21 20:48:19)
I've been wondering how anyone could change out the batteries in a Baycat. In mine, the cranking battery is fairly accessible. The trolling motor batteries however, look like they would be almost impossible to get out of there. Some one here on the boards, moved his trolling motor batteries to under the console. I was going to do that but BCB said that the floor there wasn't reinforced enough to handle the weight.

Thanks. I am getting worried about the outboard now. I hope it isn't anything major. It's still under warranty so I guess they would take care of it. The higher the jackplate, the quicker it would rev/spin I would think. Because the higher you raise it the closer the prop edge would be to the water surface. Sound right?

WOW, the new shirts!

BCB,great job on the new BCB Shirts. I was speaking to Dory this summer of something very similar, and the Tag Line, Feel the Rush or Total Performance Bass Boats, I feel should be used more, very cool tag lines BCB. I like to put either on the trailer frames, most like it. Merry XMas Folks. Brannon

19'7" with 94.5" beam = 225 HO Raised gunnels back again. Small space lateral to rod locker doors so my rods dont get tipped over when I open the box with rods on top. Puma bottom hull. Parachute to stop it cause it would run so strong.

Fury Prop For Mercury 200 EFI on...
Published (2009-12-21 19:03:55)
I would be tempted to go to a 24" pitch Fury. The Fury's are a little stiffer than the Temptest and Trophy props. Then again, I hear they are so much better on Hole shot than the others as well so a 25 may be fine. Hopefully you can find someone to let you try one before you buy one and you will then know the correct answer. I'm still leaning toward 24" though. Chris Coupel Paulina, La.

FireIsHot,
Thank you very much for your confidence. You have a good little dealer in Rockwall Marine and they are excellent on service. We hope you and your family have a
wonderful Christmas and go enjoy some winter fishing in Texas.

Very nice looking cat. Congrats and tell your brother welcome to the
Family. The original Jag is an awesome boat. I recommend purchasing a new
steering wheel for your brother as a Christmas gift. It really dresses up
the console.

What are you towing with now?
I tow with 5.3 Silverado 1/2 ton Crew cab w/ 3.73 rear. I think it does great and gets reasonable mileage. I can tell the Cougar is back there when going
across mountains. If you are towing that much, I would think the duramax would be the most cost effective.

Bass Cat Cougar Advantage Elite ! Hands down.
Warranty on engine, customer support, transferable lifetime warranty on hull, resale, ride, etc,,,,,,
Call me if you have any specific questions on this hull, i'm running the 08' version, which is the previous hull, the 2010 is better !
