Sorry to hear that about your dad Em. That is a bit pants. I guess they tried to keep him positive at the outset. So does that mean they cant even mobilise him in a wheel chair to get him out and about for a bit? Or does he still need to be hooked up to things and therefore remain bedbound? You never know.. he sounds determined to me and people can work wonders in their recovery with their determination. So don't give up hope for him. He...

I love the Noah's Ark, but Rhys got the pirate ship last year so didn't see the point in 2 boats, though my mum got mixed up with which one she'd got and bought him a set of animals to go with it thinking it was Noah's Ark lol

when to test?
Published (2009-11-21 19:01:00)
i would wait 14 days from your last lot of jiggy to get an accurate result as you dont have regular cycles, you could test anytime with first morning urine but it may not be accurate fingers crossed x

I said the exact same thing to my OH today about not needing the extra stress of dreading the care at BRI as well as being worried about the birth! I am concerned that if they ignore me when I am allergic to something (obviously not a serious reaction but my skin flares up) what are they going to be like when I am trying to express my wishes? I think you are right about being more comfortable with Airedale, I am just upset that I will have no...

I was HT! I come on here quite a lot to post on threads like these so that other lovely ladies can see that you can just get lucky - I remember how low I felt when we were given our news. After OH's first SA we were actually told that 'we had to assume we would not conceive naturally'. That was 1st July and I got my BFP on 8th August after 18 months. Just so you know as well, when we went back to see the consultant and told him...

The girls were on NP2 until they were 4 months uncorrected. I took them off it as it was bunging them up (sorry TMI) and was also not helping their reflux. After checking with the consultant and GP, they said their weight gain was good so I moved them to SMA Staydown. The only condition to moving them to regular formula was that I needed to give them their vitamins ...

I may go in to check on her if she has been unwell or during the summer when it was very hot but other than that I put her to bed at 7pm and don't see her again till about 7.30am the next morning.

Hi KayeCee,
I am a secondary school teacher and relate to how you feel! Do you teach secondary or Primary? My school esp my Dept were very supportive whilst I was at work but I think the only way to get through is to sit down as much as you can (easier to do in secondary), re-cycle lessons where you can, seriously reduce the amount of marking/planning you do (mine ...

HI OP - sorry you've not had the news you wanted. Don't you just hate this LTTTC lark?!!!!! The PCT you will use will be that which your GP is registered to. You can find out that by going on the NHS list of Drs surgeries and it should say someone which PCT they are registered to.
I live in Bucks and believe that Hants has the same criteria (all part of a larger PCT ...
