Sauce suggestion for roast beef?
Published (2009-11-27 22:33:00)
Mayo, horseradish and dijon mustard mixed together. Mix it to your liking. Another one I like sometimes is mayo, horseradish and cool whip. Both are great with beef but they each taste different. To me, horseradish and beef are like peanut butter and jelly. French dip is also a great way to go and you can use these sauces along with that. I do Italian beef reheated in aujus all the time. Great samich. Of course do the onions along with the...

QUOTE (grilling24x7 @ Nov 27 2009, 05:28 PM) Hey guys, I'm up for this weeks tailgate - I'm doing one of my favorites: rotisserie roast beef sandwiches and grilled mac n cheese. Normally I serve the roast beef sandwiches with either mayo or bbq sauce and really thin sliced onions. The past few times I've done this I've just done a standard tennesee style bbq sauce. Any thoughts or favorite sauces you guys...

Very uneventful...As stated I used very little salt. The pork by itself seemed a tad juicier, but it's more likely it was the cut itself vs the brine. The short, no better, no worse. I will skip brining in the future.

I am curious as to why you would want to put something that needs to be very cold under something designed to hold heat? It is hard enough for refridgerators to work well in very warm climates outdoors. Dave

QUOTE (Bayou Steeler @ Nov 23 2009, 08:58 PM) MassBBQ, Checking out your previous posts regarding drum corrosion ( here ) I learned a bit about your experiences. I've since suffered the same, if not worse corrosion. I came back to the forum looking for any updates but couldn't find any since the 120 day post. Aside from getting the new drums, what have you done to arrest the ...

Not much of a wine drinker here but it's amazing to me to see the winery's popping up all over the country producing some pretty great wines! Even in Nebraska! There are a couple of them within 10 miles of my home! Great to see these small businesses thriving. I use wine in my cooking a lot and personally I buy cooking wine off the shelf in the grocery store for the best flavor! No need ...

QUOTE (C2112 @ Nov 22 2009, 08:14 AM) I plan on purchasing a Genesis S-310 or EP-310 in the next few weeks. I will be receiving about $100 in Home Depot gift cards, plan to use a Lowes 10% off and because of this will in all likelihood be buying at HD. QUOTE \(shelly @ Apr 20 2009, 10:38 PM\) The markets seem to have a plethora of 5+ pound chickens that they are calling "young fryers" but are actually plain old roasting chickens.
