Turn the can upside down. Take a cigarette lighter, light it and run it across the surface a few times, that will moisten it.

For instance, while SIP + white pad may require a follow-up on the soft Lexus solid-black paint, it certainly is almost flawless on the BMW Black Sapphire paint. If you are still seing some hazing after using an orange pad, followed with the white pad, I would suggest using...

Hi everyone, first time poster here. Anyways, my name is Scott, I currently own a 2004 Honda S2000 that I bought used back in 2005, color is NFR (Red). Unfortunately, being a used car the paint on it is not as perfect as I would like. I personally store the vehicle in the wintertime and never drive it in the rain. I use great care whenever I wash it as well. But the whole time I have owned it...

Pictures would be a big help, full sun are best. Could be your paint has issues that will take buffer correction to allow UPGP to achieve the best look. Personally, I am not a fan of finishes that are so reflective the color of the car disappears making it look like chrome. I like paint that looks like you could reach your hand into and never touch the metal.

I was not aware of paint thickness gauges that can differentiate between types of paint on a car. Typically though, the color coat is very thin since you have the clear coat to protect it.
