XR6T diff centre into XT

Find yourself a complete turbo diff Carlo and flogg yours off to get a little coin back. One better would be sourcing the Typhoon diff that has slightly more aggressive gear ratio at 3.7.These are normally had between $1000-$1500 without brakes. XFUTE is on the money. New parts will set you back $2500-$3000 for conversion.

unless you're doing it yourself, i'd say the best option will be to get it rebuilt to 3.7 spec. will cost around $1500 fitted

optional extras - worth it?
Published (2009-11-20 19:36:00)
Darrens got FPV mats (the better ones) for $125 on ebay.. As for the tint, try $150 max for the 2 windows. This is how dealers make profits... Probably only costs them $70.

AU XR8 Intake

The MAF on an AU V8 is an integral part of the EECV's management system. Unless you are prepared to move to Black Oak onwards (BA Computer) or fit an Aftermarket ECU (Motec, EMS, Wolf etc) there is no way it can be done. Daniel

Car protection

My car has been parked on the side of the road/drive way for 4 years - Just keep it locked and alarmed and you should be fine (although living in a good area always helps)

No i would not like to share bad taxi driver stories
as i believe this only enflames the already bad hatred that taxi drivers receive from the general public
everyone, at some really crucial point in life, relies on a taxi, for whatever reason. cabbies have to put up with the scum of society (and so do their cabs) so if you want silver service, get silver service. if you had a problem with a...

Yep, ours just seems to be getting bigger. No matter how careful we are. Minimal lights (usually use a floor or table lamp with a 10/15w fluro), no air con or ceiling fans. Have gas hot water and cooktop.
