...for the ones who like to read a little bit more about different types of shocks (eg. monotube vs. twin tube.....): http://tein.jp/e/spe...oryu/index.html ... IMO the link gives a very good explanation about the advantages and disadvantages of the different types and might help to pick the right shocks for the particular purposes....

I went to Autobarn and bought the Trico brand wiper blades and problem solved. No more noise and shuddering. Not too expensive either. You will have to cut the rubber to size. Jackablue We have to post for both unleaded and diesel. I suspect most of us would carry one or the other, not both... I use metal jerry cans because they attach directly to my Tanami fuel pump. I own both metal and plastic and until I got the Tanami, I used both. Cheers Numb Thumbs

Gall Brothers - trashing the top...
Published (2009-11-30 20:17:00)
Hi, have any of you watched one of these Gall brother dvd's. I have borrowed one of a friend and I'm sure glad I didn't buy it. Honestly imo it's terrible. The sound is hopeless, the son who runs the show is always asking the old man "what do you want to do", which the old mad basically tells him his an idiot every time, then they drag this giant caravan over everything regardless of what the locals say....

Hi all, this may seem like a stupid question but i was washing my brand new colorado today, it is a white dual cab, and i noticed that on the inner guard around the abs unit and also lightly in other places, there is a mist of black dots like overspray. I reckon it was done at factory before the donk went in because its not on any of the hoses or wiring etc. It also made its way in a small patch...

recently I've installed some TJM Suspension for My 4Runner [Coil sprung model]. It's fine, but over the last two weeks it's become very squeeky over normal road irregularities. When putting in the suspension I noticed that this is the first suspension I've installed that's had polybushes rather than rubber bushes. My questions are:...

Hi rustbucket,
I originally fitted Pedders coils and shocks to my CRDi Terracan when it had 1K on the speedo.
It was the seconds complete suspension set-up that I purchased from the same store and also gave the other business as I referred the brother- out-law to them as well.
Then, when one of my front shocks started to leak oil, after their 'piddly' warranty ran out, they just ...

G'day all,

I have not set a date yet, but it will be between 18th Nov and 1st Dec, preferably a weekday, and not a Wednesday. If anyone is interested in joining in, let ...

Hi Georgie,
some light reading here: http://forum.austral...topic=3228&st=0
..it could be the that the diaphragm of the vacuum actuator failed, but most common "failure" is that the people don't realize that it (the CADS) takes some time and distance till the front axle engages. If you get bogged and the front wheels don't turn anymore it is likely that 4WD will not engage (requires ...

to the best of my knowledge they're only meant to run engine oil in them , maybe the stuff that has been put in is too thick - ask him what grade of oil it has in it, too thick an oil would more than likely cause it to feel crappy, especially if its just started after the oil change
