Agreed Kwacka, Beyer fought like a warrior and showed great heart getting off the deck twice and won a clear decision in the rematch when everyone was saying Green had his number. As for the topic I'd say Rose/Harada, Tszyzu/Judah, Harding/Andries,Mundine Snr/Griffin and Waters/Norris, even though Troy fell short he was just so brave in defeat against a fighter who was considered by some as the best pound for pound in the world at the time.

Few things... May 1 is an alternative date. That will depend on Pacs running for office in the Phils situation. Elections are May 10. Floyd has no prob with either date. If it stays March 13...Bhop v Roy has to find another date. If the fight falls through - Pac v Yuri Foreman. Floyd v Matt Hatton.

Viewer discretion. Is Ndou a current bona fide world champ because he beat Philip Ndou? Is Asiku at featherweight? ( beat Ruiz, when Ruiz only had one fight at featherweight against a guy who had a record of 1W - 22L)

Just my guess on this Jimmy is boxing is up @@!% creek cos there is to many promoters and managers worried to put their boys in with a even matched fight incase they loose their investment. Muay Thai match the big fights, hence why they get the big crowds and their fighters probably get more money to fight cos they are taking the risk and putting the fights on people want to see. When they ...

The Australian IBO bloke is on the take. That's why he's got a big fat arse he eats all the bribes. I pay him to fix fights so I can bet on them and win. All these IBO title fights you've seen have ALL been fixed.

That's the way I see it. Great victory, but it doesn't erase the loss to Mundine. The only way he gets it over Choc is by beating him in the ring. He hasn't done that yet.

I don't think Jones will stop Green but believe he will win in a shut out. But what I think is an excellent bet is $34 for a draw and this is one bet that should not be overlooked as a cut early in this fight will reap an Draw TD thus setting up another mega payday for Green in the rematch.

I think most fight fans in Australia are very disappointed in Mundine, expecially in the last couple of years. I still only rate WBA/IBF/WBC as the major titles and don't really count the others as legitimate titles. Mundine has never beaten the current champion and taken his title. When he has "reigned" as WBA world champion, there has always been a "Super" Champion above him. First Ottke, ...
