Nothing obviously malicious in your reports. If you think that I'll be able to fix your system in one or two posts, think again. You have many things that need to be taken care of and absolutely do not make any additions/removals from your system without my guidance. This will take several posts, if you're not up for the task let me know now, please. HijackThis Removal You're running HijackThis from your desktop which is...

John, I would urge you to not manually delete any restore points. But just to view them (really the folders) ---they are in folder System Volume Information. To your #3: Seems to me you are way too hesitant for not going forth with clearing C:\Windows\Software Distribution\Download folder. You do NOT need to save it at all. There's absolutely no need to save. Yes; you have to turn off the update service before deleting --- as I have...

Before you rush out to buy a new printer, contact Pentax http://www.pentaximaging.com < Support. Hi Robear Thanks for the reply. I do not know why but I never received a notice telling me of your reply. No big thing I checked the forum today and found it. I do not have a windows disk, Compaq partitions the HD and uses it as the disk. System restore will I assume do a clean install. I down loaded SP 2, contacted ZoneAlarm and received my license code and ZA's un-install program. Un-installed ZA, then re-installed ZA and SP 2. System...

Print Dates on Photos
Published (2009-11-23 08:07:00)
I have contacted Pentax and they confirmed that their equipment and software is functioning properly since we can download the digital information to our computer. They can not help us with our computer communicating with our printer. Now the question is do we need to get a new printer? If so, what would be recommended and what will it cost? I think I need to go to a photo forum for this information. Thank you Richard

Print Dates on Photos

I don't know if it's the actual information you want Richard, but both myself and my daughter have cameras that if set to do it put the date the photo was taken onto the photo. We've always had Epson printers and we both have all-in-one printers at the moment but different models, but when printing out photos that we've taken on our respective cameras the date is printed on the bottom edge and it's the date the photo...

Hover your cursor over the icon in the quick launch bar, then right click and select delete. This will delete the item from the quick launch bar but not delete the file. Good Luck

The 0X07A error means that the PC was looking for kernal data in the paging file but couldn't find it there and load it into memory. This could be a hardware or a driver issue but the first thing I would do is to delete the paging file by setting to no page file. Reboot and then create another one. It could be that something corrupted your paging file and it just needs resetting.
