Slow here lately! Hope everyone had a good turkey day! DH and I went to the Blind Side on Wednesday - it was good. My parents sold their house finally! What a relief. DH went out today and got a gun safe and a sewing machine for me. Hopefully I can learn how to use it. I just want to mend stuff with it, but I Get intimidated by new devices lol.

Yay!!! That is so exciting!! Dyk can't wait to hear more about it?! How fun?! Dyk sound like good terms too!! :) so happy for you!! Dyk I think it's so fun to look? DYK~ Good morning! Yay for Wednesday before a holiday!! It's like Friday, kinda? =) We got prequalified to purchase a home yesterday? It was a really smooth process? We got a 100% Rural Development Loan, 30 year fixed at 5.5%? So excited!? We are going house shopping a week from Saturday!!? I hope we find a great house?? Our lease is up the end of Febuary, so we would like to close mid January to paint etc? WOO HOO!!!

I try to keep it under 100 for each kid just to keep it fair.? I usually find out early what they want from Santa and buy that first and then with whatever is left buy the small gifts.? I usually spend about $20 per stocking for each kid which isn't factored into the present budget.

Good luck to both of you. I hate the 2ww. I had my IUI yesterday. It hurt really bad. It took the doctor about 10 minutes. It was so uncomfortable that I hope it worked so I don't have to do it again. Anyway, I had to give myself an injection in the stomach on Saturday night of Ovadrel. It forces ovulation on a certain day so they can do the IUI. I was nervous but it was really easy and I didn't even feel it. The doctor told me to...

Sounds promising for you. My dr. just prescribed Clomid over the phone and didn't monitor me in any way. I am a little uncomfortable with that because I thought she was supposed to do an ultrasound to check my ovaries. I thought it best not to take it again until I go see her. I have an appt. tomorrow for my annual so we'll see what she has to say.

Yeah, that seems strange that they wouldn't have you do an ultrasound to check follicles. I would be nervous too...you definitely don't want to have too many babies! LOL

Good luck! Given that he is doing so well already it sounds like you might not have an issue. Hope it works for you. We still have not made any progress on the PT front, still totally in diapers and has yet to want to use the potty.

Hi Susan !
I'm here this month too. I am doing an IUI this time. I just finished my clomid today. I go for bloodwork and an ultrasound on Monday to determine which day is going to be best for the IUI.
We shall see. Good luck to you, Bobbie and Chantail ! and anyone else that joins this thread. I would love it if we all ended up in the same expecting club.

Hmmmm...this year it will probably be $300. But she's our only child. I didn't intend to spend so much, but I really wanted to buy her a nice wooden table/chairs for her new playroom. That cost $175. Then I just got a couple of other toys + some stocking stuff. DH & I are only exchanging stockings - trying to keep the $ down this year!

dyk we have had the cable/internet people here, the painters, the appliance people and the movers.
