One piece you regret getting rid...

oh yes, and this was just dumb on my part. a band I played with in 1990 recorded an album in their house. built a little home studio just for it, brought in an engineer etc. Had no amp to power the monitors. I volunteered my brand new yamaha receiver. Frickin idiot - band broke up at end of recording, I never saw the receiver again. :-)

First do an AK search on Deoxit, first and formost all your controls need to be cleaned, then do a search on offset and bias adjustment. Past that you will need more extensive electronics knowledge and or help.

Keep the blue. Looks good. On my first Dyna 400 I replaced the "pilot" light with a green one instead of the original red one when it burned out. I liked it better, to keep it separate from the "hi-temp" light which was red and did come on regularly since I was driving 3 Ohm F's with a pair of ESS towers in a quasi-4 channel configuration.

Nice grab! Nikko Alpha / Beta gear is some of the least known and under-rated gear out there. I had that power amp a little while back - built like a tank! The caps dried out on the protect board (speaker protect relay stopped engaging) but it was very easy to recap the board and it was good as new after that. Love that Nikko stuff!
