SEAT Leon

AFAIK, statistically, the Leon is more reliable than the golf - the platform on which it is based. A bit odd - maybe chassis/engine aside it's a bit more basically built otherwise in terms of electrics etc? This happens - a Mazda 3 is 'basically a Focus' too - but again, it's a fair bit more reliable. Anyway, FWIW, I think Leons are a great car - the older model was very good and if anything the 'new' one is...

MABS Question
Published (2009-11-20 18:47:00)
I presume that Ireland.1 meant "creditors"? MABS will contact the people to whom you owe money and try to come to a payment schedule with them. They can also set up a Special Account with you in the Credit Union whereby you lodge money to your Credit Union and the CU will pay your creditors per the schedule.

It's an interesting idea.
Since the people of Ireland now own a chunk of the banks, we'll probably be the ones to pay for this protest.
Unfortunately for us, Irish banks are more important than the people of Ireland, as far as the government is concerned. We'll end up suffering before the hallowed banks do.

As a proud French-Canadian, I watched the game in a hopefully unbiased manner. But I was very upset by the fact that the referee and his linesmen did not spot the foul that ultimately caused the French goal. Thierry Henry should be ashamed of himself. Why do they not have "instant replay" like in American Football? That would weed the cheats out!

The easiest thing would be to roll back the most recent bench-marking increases until the 1.3bn is obtained. That way everyone in the PS is back to where they were 2 years ago I'd say.

The June payout is 7k if you have a full allocation of shares. I this they expect to make the full allocation again this year of 12.7k so payment is probably the same timeframe as last year.

Did you think of giving her a call to understand what is going on, and what legislation is relevant ?
I agree with your point. On The Week In Politics tonight, she repeated the same nonsense. When asked about the proposed prescription charges, she went off on a tangent about overprescription of antibiotics, the prevalence of superbugs, and the lack of same in The Netherlands.

I'd say it's for the optics more than anything. Imagine the papers if they heard that, on top of a pay rise, bank staff were also being wined and dined for free.

Check all rates with banks etc. before you do but I'd say your local Credit Union. You can come up with the best payment plan that suits everyone and if you get into any kind of financial difficulty they are very easy to deal with and will lower your repayments until you get back on your feet. I've always found them very easy to deal with.

All depends on who goes in strike. Some of the public sector workers I know are not union members and wont be on strike. Whereas a lot of public sector workers are in unions, as it is not mandatory to be a member, a high proportion arent members. I would assume that there will be skeleton services provided by the non-union members assuming they can get access to their places of work.

If you shared your shopping between dunnes & tesco, you'd probably find the savings are quite small in NI even on alcohol as tesco have offers that are quite close to northern prices.
On clothes and non grocery shopping you will save on the prices charged by the likes of debenhams / argos / halfords etc. , but a quick look around locally you'll find indigenious irish retailers far cheaper ...
