Interesting thought, Carole; I never connected the two. I always thought he was referring to an actual
constellation and the fact that what we perceive about far-off galaxies (as opposed to the really close ones?) is that the information we get is thousands of years old.

Interesting list, as always. "Herman Hesse" and "Nathaniel Hawthorne" are misspelled, by the way. It also appears that Art does read to his kids with "Pinnochio," "
