Patience pays out. Your new friend is getting used to her new home. She will make webs when she feels comfortale. It took mine about two or three weeks before she started making her hammock.

I didn't see anything wrong with it, either. The only 'aggressive' female I've seen towards a male was... dun dun dun ...G. rosea!

Hi Sharon, Im really sorry about your lost. Indeed is a great experience to get to raise your tarantula and follow her behavior and growing during all her life. I get really attached to them, so I can imagine. Im not sure if any of my t's have died of old age or for particular reasons...But I remmember when my first T died (female X.Immanis), I was a kid and it did affect me a little bit. This is the downside of keeping pets,normally they...

I'd move her to a new enclosure. If she hasn't already dropped the eggsac
you'll hopefully be fine. I wouldn't want to risk her laying with the mites

Cyriopagopus sp. "Blue" (Singapore Blue) and which Tiger Rump are you referring to? Cyclosternum fasciatum, Cyriocosmus elegans..? This my friend, is why scientific names are better used than common names. If a scientific name is being changed, my best recommendation is to keep up.
