Patience pays out. Your new friend is getting used to her new home. She will make webs when she feels comfortale. It took mine about two or three weeks before she started making her hammock.

I thought that 'chicken spider' and antinous were definitely different species, but 'chicken spider' may turn out to be the correct antinous. While the P. antinous currently in the hobby is likely a different species. I saw some other people posting about this before, may have been Satellite Rob.

I have no clue. I guess more people think tarantulas are more interesting then scorpions, or easier to take care of/breed. I personally thinking scorpions are easier to breed. Fun too.
I've noticed the small selection too, I'm always hoping one day scorpion sales will get larger.

I don't know if any were available in Europe, but they come from Peru and right now exports are being allowed from Peru. The area where they are usually filmed is a protected forest preserve. I don't think anyone really knows the exact range of the species yet but some people think they are antinous. Here is a pic of one I took in Peru last year and it does resemble antinous. P antinous is ...

From what I've seen, slings of M.balfouri are about $325.
And that's slings, which it is next to impossible to sex, and may or may not make it.

Cyriopagopus sp. "Blue" (Singapore Blue) and which Tiger Rump are you referring to? Cyclosternum fasciatum, Cyriocosmus elegans..? This my friend, is why scientific names are better used than common names. If a scientific name is being changed, my best recommendation is to keep up.

I found this video on Youtube.
Now I wanna say rushing the male over to the female was a really stupid move, but hey I know next to nothing about breeding Ts (thought I would like to breed this species in the future with the juvies I have now). What are your thoughts?
