My rs250's speedo doesn't work. All else w/computer seems fine. I called previous owner and was told it was disconnected during last suspension set-up. Does anyone know where this would have been done on the bike, and what I need to do to fix it?

I didn't know whether to throw it against the wall or kiss it. It arrived at our post office on 9-27, picked it up today. 68 days from Max's door to mine.... those of you waiting a couple weeks for parts to arrive should try waiting almost 10 weeks Now I can get rid of this diagnostic light.

In another thread on the forum someone mentioned how very comfortable the Futura is. I looked at photos and the seat does look comfy but the handlebars still seem pretty low and far forward. The bike I have now is a 2001 ZX-9R and I bought it because I had read that it is one of the most comfortable sportbikes. Comfy? HA I couldn't believe how terrible the riding position is. Went to wash my bike today,and noticed some oil in the belly pan. Took it off to discover that the bottom of the engine is wet with oil,the front of the front cylinder is wet,and oil seems to have leaked from the rubber valve cover gasket. Ok, I'm changing the oil for the fist time on my 00.5 RSV... this sucks!!! Sorry, had to vent. Anyway, do I really need to remove the lower hose and clean the screen or not? It has that funky clamp on it. Can someone tell me what I should do here? Thanks!!!

After seeing so much praise for this book, in this forum as well as other publications, I finally bought and read it. Full of insight and technical information, I now understand why this book is considered to be required reading for any cycling enthusiast.
