This seems a bit naive to me. Why would a Mason believe in sacramental causality in the first place? It is easy to see that those possessed of an ecumenical spirit would wish to reduce Catholic doctrine and practice to Protestant levels; but it is hard to imagine that such people would actually believe in the concept of validity in a Catholic sense.
