Keep us updated as it unfolds, Giss. With my (HS) season still half the school year away,
I'll live vicariously through you. I love coaching club, but there's just something special about the HS season that cranks my tractor.

Sportsmanship is a topic often overlooked in coaching. It gets better as players get older and play at
higher levels.

Yep - watched the game live. According to reports, the beach ball was actually punched on to the field by a Liverpool fan. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/ 8308907.stm I remember a similar incident recently when Man City were knocked out of
the FA Cup by a balloon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXmVqbcSVqc Technically the ref should stop play to clear foreign ...

Yep - probably the best coaching course I've taken. You don't need to be able to play at all. When I did it, they brought kids in to take part in the sessions. I know they haven't been able to do that every time, but you get more out of it when you have to deal with real U6, U8 and U10 players.
Highly recommended. Go for it!

Welcome to the forum. Do you play club ball? It's obvious from the video (and posting on this forum ) that you are a brave individual and don't get caught shifting to your heels under pressure. And you have good size and athleticism for a goalkeeper. However, you need to find a good goalie coach to work on your technique on everything from your timing and body posture in
set position, to ...

Welcome to the forum. The first thing I would suggest is to find what works for you. Ask yourself a simple question: How well did you play with the coach acting like he had you on a controller? I have known some coaches who won a lot by using this method, but their players didn't understand the game very well. If you feel comfortable doing things the way you are, and the boys are playing ...

There are lots of different philosophies, but here are my thoughts. Remember there are some coaches on this forum who have been doing this for decades at a very high level, and I'm just a Recreational coach, but I'll give you what I can. As for the # of drills, I like fewer rather than more. The
right answer is whatever teaches the kids the most. I think that, if they're constantly flipping ...

Of course he has the right to spend his money how he sees fit. The group interested in buying the Rams also have the right to remove him from said group if they see fit. Which they did. The fact is
Rush Limbaugh has made obviously ignorant, if not downright racist comments about at least one player in the NFL. This is well known and there were already players speaking out that they would never ...
