The concept of "Hand drawn" animation can be a gray area. It can mean hand-inked, or other things. I think it goes like this, for the process of Disney animation (correct me if I'm wrong, this is guesswork but being a longtime fan of Disney cartoons, I've read a lot about this in my day, lol): 1930's through 1959: after the artists drew the animation drawings on paper, those designs/drawings were transferred...

I didn't even mention Mulan's written source? Why are you arguing defending whether "Mulan" is true to said source or not? My complaints against the movie had nothing to do with any Chinese poem.

I recently watch Dinosaurs with my family because we hadn't seen it in years, and none of us were happy afterwards. The scenery was beautiful, and the animation still holds it on, but too many characters died and there was too much violence for my taste (the Incredible is my limit). It's going to the library now. lol

The Aristocats, Jungle Book, and Robin Hood all use lots of recycled dancing animations. Once you see it you can't unsee it. However, some people think this is bad. I say its economical. Besides, most animators do it. Look at Looney Tunes and Don Bluth films.

Best Disney Resort
Published (2009-12-06 14:40:00)
I stayed at the Carribean Resort 15 years ago and it was a great, mid-priced resort with lots of ameneties. I and my fiancee stayed at The Beach Club this past September, and now I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Amazing sand-bottom pools, walking distance to Epcot, relaxing vibe. Conceierge-level perks were great (the homemade potato chips were like CRACK), although the trek from the elevator to our room was a bit of a hike after a...

You're right! Chicken Little was HORRIBLE! I haven't seen Treasure Planet, but my guys weren't interested. I thought it might be because they were too young for it. Maybe not! :-) The only I've seen is Black Cauldron, but that was YEARS ago. All the others I haven't seen. Maybe there is a reason! :-)

Just wondering...I thought The Little Mermaid (at least parts of it) was hand drawn. I am also looking forward to Princess/Frog.

Those movies were not hand drawn. I don't know quite how to explain it, but, like all cartooning in this day and age, the Disney movies of late (I'm going to guess at mid-eighties) was not hand drawn. Just because they are not CG like the Pixar movies foes not mean they are hand drawn. I wish I could explain the process. I used to have a book on The Lion King that went into those details. If I find it, I will update my rather shabby...

Jerry Orbach provided not only the voice of Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast (Special Platinum Edition) , he also provided the voice of Sa'luk in The Return of Jafar/Aladdin and the King of Thieves (Aladdin 2 & 3 Collection) .

Yes it does get confused. But it doesn't make it the "Worst Home Video Entertainment Studio" ever.

I would also like to add another comment here. I think that rather than Disney buying up everything in site that is in anyway connected to kids, and I'm not just talking movies here, it is time for Hollywood to give some serious competition to this studio. When Wall-E was considered a high mark, it is time to expand the horizons.

Um...Im not even really sure how to respond to this one. I guess my first question would be how is someone who even remotely enjoys Doug old enough to remember Mousercise? Secondly, Honey I Shrunk the Kids IS on DVD. Do you really need to watch it in English French and Spanish to appreciate it? And thirdly, all of the other movies you list are available on very nicely done remasterd ...
