I'll go with Neil Young. He's put out much more music than the one song you used as an example. Enjoy the Jonas Brothers and Monkees.

Stevign, You, of course, have some valid points here. BUT, just as of course, I do have to disagree with some of them...I absolutely LOVE Boz's solo career, even his "disco" stuff. At least it was well played and well sung "Disco crap"!! I think Boz is one of the great vocalists of our time. And, Neil Young? How can you dismiss 'After The Gold Rush' and 'Time Fades Away'? Yes, Neil's ...

You are given your own radio show. You have time to play ten songs each night. What is the first song you play? If you have time, what are the other nine that you play? ***Amazing how this thread just keeps rolling on. A big thanks for everyone who has contributed to the various incarnations of what we affectionately refer to as the "Trainwreck". A forum is only as good as the folks who ...

I'm not really familiar with his work except the stuff he did with Steve Miller, but it's always sad to hear news like this. RIP.

RE: "I just purchased Fear of a Blank Planet and am eagerly awaiting to get it" Probably not a bad choice, knowing your tastes, though I don't own it yet But the two preceding albums show a definite progression towards a heavier and more modern sound While the older ones I have are trippier and more Pink Floyd like In fact, The Sky Moves Sideways reminds me very much of Wish You Were Here

I buy as much as I can in physical format. A) I don't lose them to computer malfunction B) They're not compressed as much (I make 320kbps rips, not 256 or other like downloads are) C) They look good on my shelf D) I'm a collector E) I like having the physical copy in my hands I can't stand paying for digital downloads. I don't mind downloading for free but...ugh. I hate paying for less. ...

Bob Dylan--Tell Tale Signs. I'm obsessing right now. Hardly ever happens but when it does, it's great! I probably won't be listening to anything else until around Thursday, if then.

Lady GaGa- She's made a few guilty pleasure songs, but she should STOP trying to pass herself off as an "artist." She's not. Colbie Caillat- Incredibly sappy, living proof that nepotism still exists in the music industry. After all,her father produced Fleetwood Mac. That makes her an indie singer-songwriter by default! Pat Monahan-I don't want to hear him sing about his shaggy chest EVER ...

The Kinks were English art students. The Doors were L.A. bohemians that were sort of the 1960's musical equivalent of Kerouac and Ginsberg. The Stones were SUPREMELY middle-class...hell, Jagger's dad was a gym teacher, Brian Jones' dad was an engineer and Jagger himself was an Accounting major at the London School of Economics !! So...the winner is The Animals. Newcastle (I believe) ...
