S4 to S3 body conversion?

Decklid, rear facia and 1/4 panels are different. (meaning pretty much everything, including the lights, markers and bumpers) If it's a 'wing thing' it'd likely be more productive and cost effective to just find an aftermarket piece that suits your taste.

Backdate Dashboard
Published (2009-11-21 18:32:00)
You'd have to change the whole dashboard, not just the binnacle/pod, and use a matching console. Seems like a mondo amount of unpleasant work. I just spent two days dealing with gauge issues on an 85 Spider and maybe I don't have the best attitude about dashboards. Andrew

First off i dont know who you are calling a piece off work. Listen to this one guys. I bought a crap load of parts from Jason. He can tell you all i spent at least $3000 worth of parts from him. This one time I purchased 6 spark plugs from him and he charged me $100 for them. They were NGK laser platinum spark plugs which WERE listed on his website for $9 a piece. I called him the next day and asked why i was double charged for them figuring...

Bob, It's absolutely correct for the holding straps for the air-filter box on a Veloce but more interestingly is how you managed to get the engine out with the gearbox still mounted in place?

And it wasn't just Alfa, Mazda renamed the MX5 to Miata, some Honda's are for some weired reason called Accura's. And there are probably plenty more examples.

Hey John, my car does the same thing, I think. I recently replaced the rear
shocks (KYB) and springs, trailing arm bushings, anti-roll bar bushings
(all rubber) and the trunion-diff bushing with poly. Didn't do the two
large side trunion arm bushings. Now when the car is stationary, I can
gently push down on the either rear fender or even inside the car on the
rear shelf and I hear a squeak/groan...

Missed the obvious, there is also a set of Ronal 15" alloys, perfect for a 75 or GTV6.
I'm thinking of getting a few more month use (changing carefully) then scrap it.

Bootiful .
Buzzed, I hope you're planning a decent upgrade to the anchors in your Alfetta. With a decent set, you'll drive right off the island

Welcome to the BB and this forum, which is full of useful info, as well as the other kind.
I seem to be more on the receiving end than on the offering side--for both it seems.
Your ranking of your Spider's condition is interesting.
Where are you located--there could be some experts near you.
Also you can review a number of old or ongoing threads.

This a note I could well have written...I was always changng batteries because they died. The problem for me was that the car's use was limited and the battery never was charged fully. If this is your problem buy a "Save-a-Battery" (it's American manufacture) charger/maintainer along with your next battery and keep it plugged in.
No relation...just a happy battery.

Ooh, you brought pitchurs, sweet
Suspension bushings, you're prolly gonna want 'em as what's there likely isn't anywhere near up to snuff unless they've been replaced in the last 5-8 years.
Straight line~wise you're gonna find the L- jetronic system isn't real condusive to tweakage, but there are parts available like cams and free flowing exhaust. You can opt for different sized tires ...

I'm voting for a fuse being popped. I'll bet that there is one somewhere that is blown. Is there a chance that someone plugged something in where it isn't supposed to be plugged in and you lost spark?(Of course I can't imagine what) I have seen people plug stuff together that may have the same plug but it goes to something else. Check the area around the coil. Has the car been wrecked? Is there a...

I am thinking of getting a run of oil vapor condensors made up. These are the black canisters that capture the oil vapors from the cam cover. Nearly every one of these that I've seen has been rusted away and I have not found a source for replacements.
Does anyone have interest in a new one? If so, would you prefer carbon steel (as stock) or stainless?
Let me know,...

How much for the steering wheel? kidding... but seriously though,
If the car does not have much for rust other than that damage to the front id say you have a pretty nice car. You would likely rebuild an engine regardless? right? Front clips have been done many of times. Needs a full restoration, i see the value of Giuliettas increasing soon. I would want $6,000 for this car, how often ...
