So i had them both up and running with unleashed being the default one booting.however i just wanted to use xbmc so i put the whole xbmc into the file and deleted the unleashed file.....yea so since its a folder the xbmc doesnt boot and the xbox was booting unleashed x but just pretty much saying turn it off so i did. Now i have the original dash but with xbmc still on it. can i just access this file somehow?also on my normal dash my ip...

The i5 and i7 800 series require 4 GB RAM . not 6 but the corsair memory is a good choice no matter which set you get.
Hate to say it but drop the ASUS mobo. I hear ASUS put down on this forum alot. I didnt believe it and paying the price as my board is dieing with in a year.

It's most likely the laser in your 360 getting flakey. You may want to do a search on a pot calibration guide. Do not attempt that without a multimeter.

the mkv files u downloaded and tried to convert may have had bad codecs ... that may have been why it says corrupt data, or nothing shows, im not to sure, its a guess from my probs with codecs from avi files, i usualy just download m2ts files, so it may jsut be the codecs.

If its a BC model and you play PS2 games on it i'd get it fixed.
If not, i'd buy a new machine. I'm not sure about Canada, but here in the UK there are still plenty of new "fat" models around, which I would choose over the slim, even without the BC.
Alternatively, ring Sony back and argue with them for as long as it takes until they give in and fix your machine for ...

you can't just rip off the disk, a modded xbox is essential (or capture the audio like any other)
as for getting at the audio in games.. that all depends on the game. every one is different

1. Some games DL part of the game to the HD to make it quicker. PSN games are saved to the HD. DL'ing a BD disk game to the HD and not using the Disk = No.
2. More than likely. Go to Bluetooth Devices on the PS3 and "Pair" it. Think thats what its called.

No, you don't have to use that kit. You can power the drive from the 360 itself.

I'm with you too, no more modding or playing backups again for me also. I had a nice 3 year run on XBL with the backups; but knew it would come to an end and it did today. Thankfully, MS just replaced my 2nd modded RROD console with a new one so won't have to buy a new one. lol, those GameStop buy 2 used games and get 1 free specials suddenly become a lot more appealing.

This is stupid you can't do that method unless you haven't upgraded to the new dashboard meaning you couldn't connect to live anyway. So you wouldn't be banned by the latest ban-hammer. Also Ixtreme LT is no good if your already banned is it! We still have nothing :-(.

Alright a few things about this, you can't sell your burned games with this system, that is completely illegal. Second you're better off keeping your legit games to play on your legit xbox . Third the price will vary by what the paint looks like, but if I had to guess I would say about $80.
